I learned different cultures in both services however in the Chinese Festival I learned how important it was to work in teamwork. It was very interesting to learn about their culture during the setup and to learn how to create connections with other people working on it. I was interested in also meeting other honor students and learning how to work together. While working on the service learning trip to Costa Rica it was very beneficial for us to learn the different things they were doing to create a sustainable development. It was very important to understand the SDGs (sustainable development goals) to know what they were working on to help their country and to also help tourists participate in their goals.
